The murder of Andrew and Abby Borden on August 4, 1892, is one of the first crimes I was aware of as a child (Yes, I totally jumped rope to the Lizzie Borden rhyme!). I have also been called Lizzie on multiple occasions by family members for my less than meek attitude. So this case is really close to my heart.

I have stayed overnight at the Borden B&B in Fall River twice. The first time in this room, the Morse Room, where Abby Borden was murdered. The second time I stayed in the master bedroom. I totally recommend spending at least one night in the place (The staff is awesome and there is a lot to see! Plus just spending time in the atmosphere is really cool!)

There is also a new B&B opening up in Maplecroft (The home of Lizzie and Emma, for a time, after the murders) which I am anxious to go to soon!

Angel Torres - Missing Since May 21, 1999

Angel "Tony" Torres was a student at Framingham State University majoring in business and psychology. His family lived in Denmark, Maine and he was a graduate of Fryburg Academy. Torres was back in Maine with a friend, Jason Carney, to allegedly sell drugs in the Saco and Biddeford areas. Carney claims to have last seen Torres at 2:00 A.M. on May 21 near the Whistle Stop convenience store where Torres hitched a ride in a red truck to either Denmark, Maine or North Conway, New Hampshire. Angel Torres has not been seen since. His family reported him missing on May 24, after he failed to show up for work.  On the night of his disappearance, Torres had been in the company of Steven and Daniel Sanborn.
